Archives and Special Collections: Politics

Two extensive collections of left-wing political pamphlets (over 3000 titles), newspapers (exceptionally strong holdings comprising 340 titles) and books, as well as papers of Scottish Revolutionary Socialist parties 1883-1943.

Based in the university's History and Politics Department, the Scottish Political Archive is actively collecting material from Scottish politicians and political organisations. The material is part of a larger project on Scottish politics and the devolution referendums of 1979 and 1997.
