
To add any item such as websites, open access items or print journals in the Library:
- In your reading list click the +Add button and select Manual entry.
- Select the Type of resource from the drop-down menu e.g. book, book chapter, website, government document, DVD etc., add a Title and click Next.
- Only add a file if you are sure it is copyright compliant (contact the Library for further guidance).

- Complete fields such as Creator (author), URL (web address) etc. Click More item details for additional fields e.g. page numbers or DOI then click Next.
- From the drop-down list select which Section you would like the resource to appear in.
- Add Information for Students e.g. notes relating to the resource.
- Add tags from the drop-down list e.g. essential or optional reading
- If this is a print book chapter or a journal article that you require electronically click the Digitize box and the Library will check if a digital copy can be obtained under the University's Copyright Licensing Agency licence.

- Click Add.
- If you add a book that is not stocked by the Library the reading list system should ask if you would like it to be purchased and a purchase request will be sent to the Library.
