Welcome to EndNote

 EndNote helps you to collect, organise and share your references. There are 3 parts:

EndNote Desktop – powerful functionality for research and systematic review.

EndNote Online – a bit more basic but still great functionality when you are away from your desktop version.

Cite While You Write (CWYW) – an add-on tool for Microsoft Word for in-text citation and bibliography.

EndNote X8 - Now Available

EndNote X8 is now available for University owned PCs and devices from the University Software Centre/Run Advertised Programs. New features include:

  • More modern looking icons
  • Share your library with up to 100 people (more info)
  • Activity log shows changes by people sharing your library
  • Now has a 'Recently Added' folder
  • Updated to operate with MacOS Sierra 10.12 and Word 2016 on Mac.

Backup your EndNote Libraries before downloading the new software.

EndNote Desktop is available free on University computers. You can purchase a copy at an academic price for your personal device.
