Statistical and other Software for Research


Some statistical and other software packages are available via the University including:

  • SPSS or Minitab (statistical analysis software)
  • Nvivo (software for qualitative and mixed methods research)
  • STATA (Data management and analysis package)
  • MindGenius (mindmapping software)

NVivo is software for qualitative and mixed methods research. It's helps you organize, analyze and find insights in unstructured, or qualitative data like: interviews, open-ended survey responses, articles, social media and web content. The following resources provide training and guidance.

NVivo getting started tutorials are very short Youtube video clips on how to do basic tasks.
