Anderson's film If.... won the Palm d'Or at the 1969 Cannes Film Festival. He was a regular visitor to Cannes and a selection of photographs he took on his visits to the festival in the 1950s are included on our flickr pages. The archive also includes files relating to Anderson’s attendance at various film festivals around the world in the 1970s and 1980s (Ref. LA 5/2).
