Information Services at Stirling does NOT support Zotero.  However, this does not mean that you cannot use the software. This guide will help you get started and there are guides available from Zotero: http://www.zotero.org/support/

Getting started

About Zotero

Zotero is a tool that helps you collect, manage and cite research sources.  It is a free Firefox browser add-on and a standalone program that works with Windows, Mac, or Linux systems. Zotero also works with Chrome and Safari, but note it does not work with Internet Explorer and so so cannot be used on the computers in the labs on-campus.

Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies. Zotero automatically indexes the full-text content of your library.

With Zotero you can create and join research groups to focus on any topic you choose. Each group can share its own research library, complete with files, bibliographic data, notes and discussion threads. Groups can include as many members as you like and can be private or public.
